About

One of the prettiest thatched cottages in the New Forest, Martins Farm is a 500 year old thatched cottage gifted by King Charles I, located in the heart of the New Forest National Park.

The site consistently receives good reviews and feedback, being well maintained, off the beaten track and very flat! It is a very peaceful site, surrounded by fields, hedges and oak trees. Numerous owls, bats, foxes, birds of prey and even deer are your closest neighbours. In addition to this, there are also horses, cats, dogs and chickens on the farm – all of which love to be petted!

Along with excellent local amenities and pubs, one of the most attractive features of the site is the excellent walking available from it. Just a few minutes walk in either direction takes you straight on the Forest – perfect for keen walkers, cyclists and canine friends (who are very welcome).

The owners are keen to help and support all those visiting the site. However, please note that they work full time and so may not be able to answer telephone calls or emails during the day but they will endeavour to respond within the same day.
